This project by Italian artists Andy Simionato and Antonio Riello aims at serving only the good news. In contrast to other good news sites, the news is not manually selected but by machine. So I had an opportunity to use some nice AI features for machine learning and language processing.

For Toxit I worked on the cms for the KCAP website which has been recently launched. I also did part of the front-end stuff for the flash site. Mostly things not visible at first, like the automated text-colour adjustment to the background, direct access to subpages of the site, browser navigation within flash movie and some more gimmicks to create an intuitive feel.

For Ranj I developed a little game environment which should make kids and parents aware of the risks involved in drug taking. It consists of 2 quiz type games and 1 platform game.
The application will be displayed on some 40 laptops embedded in custom briefcases which can be used on location by youth workers. The games are not online.

The GRIP project which I coded for Ranj has just won a national medical innovation award, the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs. Read about it here (in dutch).
The project was commisioned by the health agency, for Stichting Diabeter.

For Holland-Interactive I worked on a streaming video engine which will display a selection of 10 years of musicchannel 3voor12′s video registrations. The online tool was made to celebrate 3voor12‘s 10 year anniversary.

With Ranj I made (a pilot for) an online game environment in which kids with diabetes can become more aware of how to live with their condition. The project was commisioned by the health agency, for Stichting Diabeter.
The pilot contains two games that are loosely embedded in a storyline. In the future more games will be added. A demo can be seen at this location.
