Extra Pretty Permalinks
With this WordPress plugin you can simplify your pretty permalinks.
Use it to link to categories using /[categoryname] instead of /category/[categoryname] and /[tagname] instead of /tag/[tagname] to link to tags.
You can also specify permalinks to ignore.
You can change options in the source file. There is no admin/options page in this version.

How to install
Unzip the download.
Place the rf_extra_pretty_permalinks folder in your wordpress plugin folder.
Go to the plugins page in the WordPress admin interface and activate the plugin.
Notes
Developed for WordPress 2.8.4. Not tested on other versions.
Pretty permalinks should be enabled in your wordpress account.
In permalink settings the custom structure should be set to ‘/%postname%/’ or ‘/%postname%’.
This plugin was made for Rafael Rozendaal’s blog on newrafael.com. and is therefore made to suit his specific wishes. It is not a very general plugin, but you can use it as a starting point for your own permalink management.
