Last weekend, I went to Berlin with Ranj to visit Pictoplasma’s animation festival called ‘Characters in Motion’.
There were lectures and a lot of screenings (music video’s, shorts, idents, commercials etc).

Until now I knew Berlin only from Eboy’s berlin picture, so it was nice to see it for real!

I have just consented to being part of the technical jury for the First Lego League challenge, December 9th.
It’s the finale for the Lego robotics competition for 2005.
Finally, my education in artificial intelligence is paying off…
(Or did they ask me because I have a Lego robot myself? It is in the box, and hasn’t been out in 3 years…)

Anyway, I think it’s a neat thing, kids making these great robots!
