Sunweb Wintersport Matcher

Sunweb Wintersport Matcher for Playability

With Playability I developed a viral campaign for tour operator Sunweb in which visitors can build their ideal wintersports day by choosing activities for the hours of the day. Their day will then be matched against that of their friends and shown in an animation.
It can be played in a Facebook app page and in a Hyves app page.
The application uses the data api’s of both Facebook and Hyves for gathering user data, inviting friends and sharing.

AR campaign for i2

AR campaign for i2

Recently, I made a small AR (augmented reality) application for i2, for a direct mail company.
It uses the FLAR Toolkit and supports multiple markers. I did a minor rewrite and optimization of the toolkit to support the desired behaviour for our markers without unnecessary cpu usage.
The application is used in a direct mail campaign in which users receive the markers in the mail along with a url at which they can see a personalized version of the campaign.

Application on tekenvoorvrede.nl for Playability

For Playability I coded a little application in which users can make a drawing or autograph for world peace. Their drawing then becomes part of one long autograph. The application is part of the website for Peaceweek.

Papiria – second installment

Papiria for PixelGarden / IN10 / Kinderboekenmuseum

For PixelGarden (and IN10) I developed a new application embedded in the new Kinderboekenmuseum (museum for children’s books) website ‘Papiria‘.
With this application children can make their own comic strips and publish them on the Papiria website.

This is the 2nd installment of the Papiria website. For info on my earlier work for this website see here.

Papiria website

Papiria for PixelGarden / IN10 / Kinderboekenmuseum

For PixelGarden (and IN10) I developed a number of applications embedded in the new Kinderboekenmuseum website ‘Papiria‘.
With these applications children can type, record and play their own horror stories. They contain a custom audio track editor, soundscape player, microphone recording and a streaming media server.
Children’s horror writer Paul van Loon contributed a couple of (audio) stories and pointers on writing horror stories.

In the near future the Papiria site and these applications will be taken to a next phase.

ABNAMRO quiz for IJsfontein

quiz game for IJsfontein / ABNAMRO

For IJsfontein / ABNAMRO I coded a quiz application which will be used internally by the banking concern as a means to introduce its core values to their employees.
The game is not publicly accessible, so a screenshot will have to do.

For the animations in the game, I used greensocks’ TweenMax and Caurina’s Tweener libraries. These things make a coder’s life easy! I always worked with TweenMax/TweenLite, but I needed Tweener for tweening on dynamic bezier paths. Works like a charm.

3voor12 viewmaster

For Holland-Interactive I worked on a streaming video engine which will display a selection of 10 years of musicchannel 3voor12′s video registrations. The online tool was made to celebrate 3voor12‘s 10 year anniversary.
You can view the result by clicking on the image.

Mijn Stories – Rotterdam

mijn stories audio tours

The first installment of the Mijn Stories project has been launched.
Mijn Stories is a set of gps-driven audio-tours, like the earlier Codex Kodanski and Codex Delfshaven. One of the tours takes place in the Afrikaanderwijk in Rotterdam, for which try-outs were held during the Rotterdam Film Festival.
For HootchieCootchie I enhanced the device application I made earlier (in C#), and built a set of web-based editors for content management.

Codex Kodanski ported

Codex Kodanski reanimated

For Hootchie Cootchie I ported the linux-based Codex Kodanski project, a gps-driven multimedia tour, to the new PocketPC engine that I made a while ago. This engine was made for the Codex Delfshaven project, and will also be used in the upcoming MijnStories project.

Codex Kodanski will be revived in the near future.
